About Helen Klebesadel Giclée Prints
The giclée print (pronounced "ghee-clay") process was developed in the early 1990's using an Iris inkjet printer called the 3047. These early machines had been developed for digital graphic proofing but were adopted by artists as a digital method of fine art printing. In 1991, the world's first digital fine art atelier opened its doors. Since this early beginning, the technology in equipment, media, inks and craftsmanship have advanced immeasurably.

Helen Klebesadel's Giclée prints are produced by Staples Fine Art using their Heritage Giclée® process. The prints are produced on archival quality watercolor papers much like an original painting. Life-span estimates of wide-gamut pigment ink Giclées by third-party testing indicate over 150 years with no noticeable fade. A giclée print should be treated the same as an original watercolor. You should never expose any type of artwork to prolonged sunlight or other harsh conditions.

Additional Helen Klebesadel original watercolor paintings are continuously being made available as giclée prints. Check out the sales sites listed above or contact Helen Klebesadel for more information.
